Who better to speak about winning strategies than the woman leading two professional sports teams and a growing entertainment powerhouse?
Mel Raines, President and CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, is the first woman to hold that title in the organization’s history. With over 30 years in sports, politics, and public affairs, she’s led major initiatives such as the Fieldhouse of the Future and the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
A former White House and Capitol Hill leader, Mel also played key roles in the 2012 Super Bowl and 2008 Republican National Convention. An IU alum and South Bend native, she serves on multiple civic boards and has earned national recognition for her impact.
We’re thrilled to welcome Mel as our 2025 Hazelett Forum keynote speaker.
