Leader-to-Leader Webinars

Peer learning is crucial in leadership, and we foster this dynamic with a leader-to-leader webinar series. Led by former Fellows and other leaders with topical expertise, these discussions cover issues relevant to our Network. Recent conversations have included:

  • Pamela Ross, a 2019 Tobias Fellow, VP of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the Central Indiana Community Foundation, who led a webinar on how to lead an anti-racist organization.
  • Ellie Rubenstein, a 2017 Tobias Fellow, CEO and co-founder of Manna Tree Partners, who discussed social impact investment theories and being a woman in this industry in a webinar moderated by Idie Kesner, Dean of the Kelley School of Business
  • Patty Martin, a 2007 Fellow, CEO of BioCrossroads, and Alecia A. DeCoudreaux, the 2017 Hazelett speaker and president emerita of Mills College, talked about an entire range of board leadership opportunities, and particularly why board service is an important extension of a leader's journey. Corey Wilson, a 2018 Fellow, Vice President for Community Engagement with Pacers Sports & Entertainment served as Moderator for this webinar.

A Book Club for Busy People

As a sponsor of the new IU Alumni Association Leadership Book Club, the Tobias Leadership Center has arranged for special access for all current Fellows and members of the Tobias Leadership Network. This free book club is completely virtual with no meetings to squeeze into your busy schedule. Read the book and then review or participate in online discussions with other leaders.

The Tobias Fellows Program provided me an opportunity to mindfully consider the choices I make as a leader as well as the choices I make as a citizen of the world.
